Julie Bomberger, owner
Paul's Specialty Meat Market Inc.

Just like the rest of the Kotuba children, Julie began working in her parent's retail and dining establishments at a very young age. Her parents engrained a hard work ethic and the importance of family heritage in all of the children. It was no different for Julie. Even though she left the family business for her education and for a few short stints in other industries, she always found herself coming back.

In 1993, Julie got her first taste of entrepreneurship. Her father asked her to name and manage one of his stores, the Wampum Market, which she ended up buying from her parents and running for nearly 10 years before selling it.

When Paul Kotuba Sr. passed away in 2005, Julie was working in management in the retail clothing industry. She watched as the store her father had worked so hard to maintain slowly slipped into disarray. She knew it was time to come back once again and rebuild her family’s business from the ground up, making it stronger and better than ever before.

Julie says she enjoys making the community she grew up in a better place and providing jobs for her neighbors. She prides herself on getting to know the friendly faces that walk through her doors and carrying on the traditions her father set in motion nearly 50 years ago.

As a women business owner and entrepreneur, Julie is involved with many networking groups and women's associations including Executive Women’s Council of Beaver, Women’s Business Network - Cranberry Chapter, Women Connect of Lawrence County, Ellwood City Chamber of Commerce, Beaver County Chamber of Commerce, Cranberry Chamber of Commerce, Women’s Power Lunch of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Association of Sustainable Agriculture, and The Pittsburgh Social Exchange. She also volunteers her time at area charity events, including the Annual Pink Ribbon Golf Outing.
