The Kotuba family has a rich history in retail and dining establishments in the Beaver Falls, Ellwood City, New Brighton and surrounding areas. They have owned about a half dozen meat shops, grocery stores and a restaurant since 1963 when Paul Kotuba branched out on his own for the first time and founded a small neighborhood butcher shop in Eastvale — the original Paul’s Market.
Julia and Paul Kotuba had five children, all of whom grew up working with their parents. Paul taught his family well — not just about the techniques of boning beef, but about hard work, dedication and commitment to excellent customer service. Paul, Steve, Tina, Jill and Julie all believe strongly in their father’s legacy and in maintaining the same level of customer service he engrained in them so many years ago.
Paul's Market is now a second-generation store, owned by the youngest of the siblings, Julie Bomberger. Paul Kotuba Jr., the oldest, maintains his spot behind the butcher counter, and Julie's niece and nephew have joined the family tradition as well. You'll see them stocking shelves, bagging buns and checking out customer's orders just as Julie did so many years ago. Julie is proud to keep her father's dream alive and to be passing on her knowledge to her family in training.
